The Nimbus 495 Flybridge has been awarded the prestigious European Powerboat of the Year 2025 in the category Powerboats up to 18 meters.

With the 495 Flybridge, Nimbus has officially stepped into the explorer segment and created a true «voyager» – a vessel for epic experiences and long-distance exploration. The 495 Flybridge defines new boundaries for possible experiences.

The 495 Flybridge has been developed with the idea of being able to cover all imaginable needs today and in the future. A boat for longer voyages that exudes Scandinavian style and living that function optimally in all waters, in warm and cold climates. Provides the potential to go anywhere and live on board comfortably for many weeks – whether you want to set off on a great adventure or holiday in your own cosy archipelago.

One of the key properties of the boat’s design is that it is just as easy and forgiving to handle for two persons in a demanding Nordic archipelago as it is comfortable and safe for a couple or a family who want to head off on a long voyage of discovery in the Mediterranean. That is why we have also referred to the boat as “an island of its own” in the development work. 

The Nimbus 495 Flybridge provides the potential to go anywhere and live on board comfortably for many weeks – whether you want to set off on a great adventure or holiday in your own cozy archipelago. The primary objective of the Nimbus 495 Flybridge has been to create an expedition vessel – a “voyager” if you like. For this reason, the tank capacity has been dimensioned in order to be able to cover great distances but also to be able to rest calmly in a natural harbour for a long time without worrying about the electricity supply, a source of fresh water or “black water capacity”.
